The odd sock
Fuerteventura has a landscape a little like mars. The earth gives birth to soothing yet rich tones and the sky feels so close with dramatic fluff monster clouds. The seas are wicked and wild and sand dunes change shape daily as they dance in the wind. Everything beckons you to rise at dawn and stay out until inky twilight.
I love the tiny little villages in the north of the island, where time seems to have paused for the longest moment and there is time to appreciate the things that often go unnoticed, this little scene of the sock, the chair and the stool all in harmony together was one such moment, odd! and yet perfectly balanced.
